wlim glass filter development http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?426129-kendragon-s-cichla-filter-project
wlim bio glass filter is not listed on the website. Go to the wlimproducts website, the price is close to the bio wave filters. WLim Store is not owned or operated by wlim.

Can you post pix of the glass media? I'm curious to see what it looks like. Does it still require a blower to backwash? I would think it would be nearly as heavy as sand since that's essentially what glass is made of.

So KenDragon how do you feel the glass media compares to Wlim's normal plastic media? was it a mind blowing difference?

Street unity I see your from mchenry what kind of fish are you putting in your tank I got a 600 gal just got a 125 sump wet/dry and have a aquatop canister hooked up to the sump and got 25 watt uv and another sump on the top the tank 3ft long 18" wide filled with just mini bio balls and the water just trickles down back into the tank, I added it later cause the wet/dry alone I felt wasn't enough got a bunch of rays and monster fish so gotta have ultimate filtration, you can never over filtrate

and i see you're from my hometown. might go ray eventually but for now a more suitable home for my rtc and tsn and a few other large predators.
