ULTIMATE 10 GALLON TANK?

i would go with a very heavy planted tank and a betta with a couple of cardinal tetras
 
Am I the only one here obsessed with shrimp?
I'd just go heavily planted, get a few high quality Red Cherry Shrimp, and let 'em go crazy! Sell the babies and make a few bucks :)

There's also Bamboo Shrimp, I just picked up one of those the other day and he's really cool.
 
Years ago i setup 10g in my office with a single Green Spotted Puffer. Everyone loved him and wanted to feed him. Obviously we named him "Spot" Very cool lil fish. People still ask me when will I setup another Spot Tank

I would even forget Cherries and go with Crystal Reds if you want to make a buck, + they are more interesting pattern wise compared to cherries

GSP's actually do best in a 30G plus tank for a singleton :)
