Ultimate aquarium related job

You guys realize that there's like, no money in the LFS business? This is not a way to get yourself rich or even likely live particularly comfortably. Most around the country are closing down.

I was saying the store would be a hobby and that I would already have enough money that I would not have to be dependent on the income from the store. I thought we were dreaming.

Thanks. Today I spent my time laying on my back in a puddle of saltwater trying to unwire a pair of pumps that had bearings go out on them. The previous installer forgot to leave space around the next layer of PVC, so it took a lot of hitting and throwing things to get them both free. LOL

Its not directly aquarium related but id love Jeremy wades job , chasing river monsters all day

TV has it's ups and downs. You see about 5% of what really goes on with putting together a show. If you can roll with it, the projects can be really fun. Downside is you are saying what you are told to say - and there is very little liberty to put what info you want out there (unless you are the producer/director).

Yeah because generally (which is sad) it's cheaper to get them online/sell online and from home.

What would you consider to be the ultimate aquarium related job? Aquarist? Breeder? Tinkerer?

Best would have to be a lotto-winning hobbyist with enough money and time to build dream set ups without the pressures of having to turn a profit from it. Trying to make a living off your hobby is often a good way to take the fun out of it IMO.
