you were the one who is mistaken. matt hamil won the fight. jones lost by disqualification.

in your post that i quoted, i thought you were saying hamil should have lost. i was just speaking my mind on the illegal strikes. i've been punched in the back of the head during the fight and didnt feel right for a month. so i feel very strongly about illegal strikes.

but yeah, hammel won.

yeah, at first i thought hamell lost too cuz he couldnt get up. the problem was that, due to the illegal strikes, hamell's nose and forhead were destroyed and blood pooled in his eyes. he couldnt see, and because he's deaf, he didn't know what was going on.
once his corner people got in there and cleaned him up and shook the cobbwebs out of his head, they announced jones's disqualification.

but giving credit where credit is due, up until the illegal strikes, jones was destroying hamell.
