for sure take pics. i just got an umbee last month... about 3" now. cant wait till he gets bigger!

I wouldnt use parrots for dithers, I would use them for feeders. Although w/ your guys ya never know. To each his own i guess
I hope you continue to keep us uptodate.I use Blood Parrots with my 3 inch Dovii,the Parrots are all bigger than my Dovii,they put on a good show(all bark and no bite!!)The Parrots dont have the proper mouth to do any damage,so my little Dovii spends the day chasing them around the tank,he nips them up a bit but no real damage.I will remove the Parrots when my Dovii gets a little larger.
O,and you could also try some Black skirt Tetras,they are pretty tough and kind of fast plus they are pretty inexpensive.
No Knock on wood,but i'll tell you even though he is maybe a little over 3 inches,when he gets mad and chases the Parrots 1st he gets real dark,then when he goes to his rock to chill out i can already see some of the purple hues on him(when the light hits him just right)its pretty cool.
