No these are just his aggression colors he is a rio mag blue umbee I have another post up that explains his color variations

Ive only seen one other male like this. It was a juvie around 5" I sent to umbeeking which was supposed to be a female lol it was very yellow. After he had it for a couple weeks he introduced it to a male lil bigger and it didnt go so well. After that he vented it and it was a male, just with a lot of yellow. I think its wierd that it happened but its definitely a new look. I thought it might have been my lighting, but i have my male location x in that tank now and he is all blue so..... Nice video btw

There is still a yellow tint to him when he's not breeding. It's either a unique variant or weird lighting.
