He is gorgeous! Just curious, why did you use sand? What size tank do you have him in? What are you feeding him?

regarding the noises , got me n the mrs talking but the whining is the dog who is outside the room and winging to come in, he does sound sort of whale-ish lol
the pair are in a 5x2x2 , they are fed mainly hikari pellets and the odd bit of nls , and the reason i use sand is i like it and all the kak stays on top and is easy to see and remove whereas gravel it just sinks in.
i also have another smaller pair, but they are camera shy but will try and get pics as the male is quite a beauty.
