tough to tell at such a small size. How big is he/she? Nice blue freckling on the gill plates though. Checked the pics of my male and female when they were smaller but they both had the freckles. What happend to the other 59 of them?

the one pictured is also around 3.5" now. sometimes it looks similar to my female but it doesn't have that much black on the pectoral fins

just a quick comparison between my DEFINITE female (top) and my current growout. female has alot more black in pectoral fins and no red on tip of dorsal fin.
I have A feeling its a female, see the fins on a male are usually a bit more pointy, not as rounded as a female. But thats just me

You mean like in the second pic? Look at the Anal fin. Its round and smooth. Top pic the absolute female has a pointed/sharp anal fin.
I also see the color in the Dorsal, plus the latteral line on the femal is weaker or lesser than the second.
