Once again...... Best of luck! He should really invest in a larger tank for the pair and sell the babies to recoup the cost of the tank. BTW, what State is your friend in? When I say "State" I serious mean which of the 50 States in the USA..... rather than "State of Mind"..... before someone jumps on that statement!
 
Yeah, I am hoping I get to bring them here to breed. I have a 150 that will be good for them. Anyone have experience with stunted fish? I hear from some people that they will grow if put in the right environment, but I have seen nothing concrete. These two umbees are small but they are young so I do not know that they are stunted, it just seemed to me that they were really small to be so good with spawning already.

These are not mine I know what it is to grow out fry and sell them. I have over 400 fish to take care of! As far as peddling htem, I have the benefit of taking thme to a vendor and dropping them all off at once :)
 
they can breed at 4"...your buddy needs to move them into a bigger tank...i highly don't that a true hobbyist will pay 500 for them but whoever does thats their money...so get ready for some fry tanks :)
 
I was over the guy who has these two house yesterday and trust me, he has the tank space! ;) How much does he want for the red tiger mota breeding pair he caught? Those two are some beautiful fish!
 
I'd be happy to get these for my in law's 200 gallon, but the price is a little far off. What else does the guy carry who owns this pair?
