Umbee pair update

They look great man. My male gets pissy with the female too and she jabs him back like that under the jaws lol. I cant wait til mine get really big like that. How long have you had them and what size when you got them?

The tank they are in now is a 240 tall and I am currently building the new one. Work has been crazy but I work on it whenever I can and I'm nearly done with the stand.

I got the male on febuary 31 2011 at 3"( he grew crazy fast!) and the female that summer at 6".

they livin the life. big tank all to themselves. WC, get fed, make babies.. critters now and then.. lucky umbees..

i feel bad a lot of cichlids now.. I wish every living thing get good homes like this..

Ya I hate overstocked tanks and these guys do live the life. Can't wait to see them in the new tank! They may have to share it ( him permitting) but it will be over 1000 gallons so I think they will be ok.
