You don't get it that a Cichla would pwn a Umbie.

you dont get it that i would curbstomp any Pbass
ahahah
and any cichla(ugly as* Pbass/not real cichlids LOL) would get owned in my cichlid grow out tank

Umbee for sure.

1st of all, even if the pbass is 40" i could NOT swallow a 26" fish that is as full bodied as an umbee.

2nd of all if you've ever seen a convict kick the crap out of an oscar you know size isn't always the deciding factor.

now just supersize that convict to 26" and increase it's aggression tenfold and you got yourself a pbass asskicking machine.

Think what you want, but you are absoulutly wrong. My Temensis when it was 19" or so swallowed a full bodied 14" fish. You have never kept pbass to see the sure aggressiveness when a fish bites them. The umbie would not win.

there ugly
it an insult to be called cichlids more like LMB

ahahaha:naughty:

This statement alone shows you have never kept cichla....much less an adult. Peacocks are VERY strong fish...their size and presence alone speaks for itself...they dont need to throw their weight around and pick fights all the time like a lot of cichlids. When your experience is limited to a few pics here and there, and of mostly juvies, as most hobbyist dont have the space for adults...much less Temensis adults...your opinion is taken very lightly. a breeding umbee is just a bit more aggressive than it normally is. A breeding Cichla, is different animal. Just ask DM who lost most of the inhabitants in his tank when the Azul and Orino paired off....and mind you...a full grown Tem would still hold a foot on these cichla, or Ask Jed (the Trust) what his opinion is....

I like umbee's, but am not stupid...cichlids bite each other, and are very dramatic, an aggressive peacock skips that and goes staright to ramming. Send the fish into shock. YOu know where my vote is.

Btw, come fishing with me....you can hook a 18" pbass and a 18" LM and tell me who really gives you a fight....

Well said Laz.

TEM FOR SURE! It would just swallow the Umbee! Do you have any idea how big their mouths are???? This is one of my 3" (now 5") Orinos "yawning". A 40" Tem is going to get its mouth open probably 14"+++ and swallow the damn thing (or at least try to).
