Umbee vs Trimac

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just another dumbass that doesnt know how to house cichlids...they are abundant these days. The comments say the umbee died from an infection due to this fight.

Interesting vid, once the Umbi ran into the corner he want the Pacus out too.

I just edited my post I didn't see that the Umbi died, I don't go for that stuff. It's as bad as dog fighting.

I dont like that the umbee died, but i think everybody in this hobby has a slight interest in the fighting capabilities of cichlids. I would never fight a cichlid for the fun of it, just saw the video thought people might want to see it.

I can definitely respect the power and tenacity of the aggressive cichlids but keeping them in a manner that would support and induce fights to the death is ridiculous and juvenile. It's one thing to witness this kind of behavior in the wild where the two fish have the option and room to flee, keeping them in an extremely small tank and filming their fight instead of immediately taking action to save both fish is ignorant. An Umbee, Trimac, two Pacus, and a RTC in a small dirty tank never looks leads to good things. This is just more little boys with cameras that have no respect or compassion for the animals that they keep.
