Umbee

Hi been growing out a group of six umbee's I bought from Jeff a couple years ago. This one was always dominant from 1 1/2 he eats 40 large cichlid gold pellets a day and is a joy to own real interactive. He is about 15" now, not the best pic it doesn't really capture what this great fish is all about.

he is in a 200 gal all by himself not that he would tolerate any roomates

Why would you think it would be female nothing about him looks like a female umbee.

really reminded me in body shape, color, and how the fins are to this female in the pair. the female in the video also grew very large like 18" or so i was just wondering not my fish btw

I am not a expert but always thought the fish had male like chracteristics but like I said i'm not a expert.

im no expert either. im sure with the growth your fish has its probably a male but i was a little curious
