These are pictures of breeders, not pets. I don't think you can imagine what kind of work goes into a Farm and don't kid yourself, that's what he is running. He simply has too much on his plate to worry about making sure that the glass is algae free and lighting is perfect to take pictures of brood stock. In fact, it hurts his bottom line as the fry that he depends on to make his business successful thrive on the algae and microorganisms growing in it. Be glad you can see pics of fish like this at all because it isn't something many people are willing to show. Knowing how much goes into something on his scale, the fact that that fish has a 350 is awesome but for that to be justified by Dan I'm sure the tank provided was pretty hashed. It simply doesn't make sense to buy show tanks for breeding purposes. So if we can get better pics, great! If not, be glad we can see the parents to the fish we buy at all and be grateful for it. I don't recall ever seeing pics of the parents of any other vendors umbees.

Is this the same fish in your site's main picture? Also is this the dad of the current 1.5" frys being listed? Looks like I have to grow some umbees again.
