I love the fins. I'd like to see him all flared up with his fins spread wide. I bet it's impressive. You should put a mirror at one end of the tank and shoot some more video.

Wow!! He is gorgeous Looks very healthy and strong. Good job... What size tank do you have him in? Is he in the tank alone? What are you feeding him? I am just asking I used to have one he was gorgeous as well, but wanted a 360 gallon tank to himself, I thought it was too much tank for one fish, so I ended up selling him... He was mean and pretty, lol...

He is currently in a 100 gallon by himself. I am feeding him Alge waffers and Cichlid Excel. He is a very shy eater and I have yet to see him eat in my presence. He is just know comming out of his shell and is getting more territorial everday. At first when I would come set infront of the tank he would seek refuge. Not anymore he now flares his gills and swims around the tank strutting his stuff. The fish has swagger Thank you

Thank you. Believe me if I had one I would. I use to do that with my cichlids back in the day. Glad to see Im not the only person that did that. However I was able to get some shots of him flareing his gills at me. Enjoy!
