SO let me get thias straight they set this up in 2 days and by chance you were in tahoe for 4 days so you were never able to see the pond set up or take pics. But while you were gone you were able to add your exoctics and oddballs. Im just going by what youve posted here
yea it was just a simpe pond setup they just built the pond made of concrete and just placed the equipment during the storm and then later they called me saying their was a crack...and then when i got back i saw them taking the pond down...ad when they got every debris out of the way i saw the crack...
ok heres what really happened...my grandparents build a pond in a 2 day fashion, nothing to complicated...just a simple concrete one...and they got the equipment and everything...never added....i seriously told them to wait for the pond to cycle for a month and while i went to Tahoe for a 2 day vacation the second day where the concrete dried up which wasnt....and stuff...my grandparents just diliberately filled the pond with warm water and just put my fishes in...luckily when i got back they didnt die from a uncycled pond...
my grandparents just wasted my money that i saved up for these ponds...nxt time im doing it myself for atleast a work of 1-2 weeks worth a working on the pond...and unlike my grandparents work in 2 days...>=0 just ruined my ponds....they should have used the 2 days for getting the concrete pond walls atleast halfway done...and should have gotten atleast a foot of the pond done....and when i got back that was when i was suppose to continue by myself with the rest since i had the instructions in my head not theirs...
my silver arowana which was 12"....luckily it didnt jump out without my grandparent putting atleast a flatwood over it...and a red tailed catfish, rtc x tsn,managuense....those are what mostly are going to go into a perfectly DONE pond MY way...=/ man....all that saving up for that stuff all gone cuz of my darn grandparents!!....
but when i get most of the money again and stuff for the concrete and plexiglass...ill make a larger pond...a 14'x8'4' pond but im not sure if i should keep it outside or an indoor pond...the backyard is already filled with plants and trees where my grandpa keeps his orchards....and strawberry bush and apple trees..
hey PMK....do you think a 14'x8'x4' pond will be big enough for 2 more silver arowana to go with my other silver arowana....and a red tailed catfish and the hybrid, and 3 red bellied pacus...and a jardini arowana? it will be filtered with a canister like pond filter built for a 4,000 gallon pond? and 4 55 gallon garbage cans converted to a filter?
