Thanks guys and yes the UMBEE is a beast. He is 17inches and a savage straight Carnivore. The only way I can get him to eat pellets is if i fast him for two weeks and even then he will eat the pellets with least interest. I feed him Tilapia fillets,Jumbo Krill and Mice. Yes thats right Once a month I pick up two to three of your standard size mice and feed it to him alive. He loves it and makes no mess. It takes him about 20 to 25 minutes to digest one and then he is ready for another. It does not make a mess in the tank and it satisfies his carnovire needs. He is a true MONSTER FISH.

for you PETA folks and weak stomached stay out !!! IDK what you ppl think 20" wild cichlids eat but this BEAST was brought in @ 16" so his whole life consisted of killing things to survive. Post up the vids bro and hope the babies don't flood in.
