Unattended Python Gravel vac

Had that happen a little while ago, except it was a bala shark, he made it all the way up the tube to the shut off valve. I was able to reverse the flow and push him back out. After swimming funny for a while he is back to normal. He is now fondly named "Lucky". lol
 
That sucks man, I had that happen with a lungfish that was the diameter of the tube. Fortunately it was fine...
 
I leave my python unattended all the time... Was yours hooked to a faucet or was gravity pulling the water out? I usually use gravity as to not waste tap water and i think the suction is less...

It was a gravity fed siphon. I never have hooked a python up to a faucet, just wastes water:screwy:
