Stillborns are actually quite common. I had an entire stillborn litter once due to a water quality issue. There was one stillborn pup in each of my motoros first three litters.

That is sad to see. However, the upside is that hobbyists have a larger captive breeding program going than most people know about. This female will have more pups (live) in the near future.
