Looking at the sting ray profiles sticky there are alot of rays I havent heard much about. ( mantilla, aparico, mosaic, antenna rays, yepezi, constellata, ect. )
Reading back through the sting ray archives it seems like some of the uncommon rays were more widely avaliable. Have there been bans on exports? anyone breeding the more uncommon rays?

I have 2x yepezi, and i thought these were pretty common, but i dont see them on here so often, how come? Are they to cheep for anyone to have?:p

i think orbingyi rays are pretty uncommon. i dont know a lot of people that keep em besides me and one or two mfkers. never herd of the species until i bought mine last month.

Some rays are more seasonal and you won't see them available at all times. While others are just very rare to see or aren't practical for most ray keepers to keep. Aparico and yepezi are both fairly common.

Availablity and popularity are usually driven by value. Lately it is the black rays that are dominating the lime-light. Rays like the Hystrix, Orbs and Pearls are very beutiful. I for one am determined to move into one or more of these species soon. -FM
