The PLJ make the fish look like a grumpy old woman.

For me, I will accept PLJ in my fish. Most of the time we buy our fish small and thus it's not easy to spot the potential of PLJ development.

To me, all my fish are my pets. I accept the way they develop under my care. Regardless if the fish start to develop droop eye or PLJ, end of the day they are still my fish and still given the same treatment as the rest.

But some hobbyists are very particular about these defects and I have seen coutless hobbyists selling off their fish and replace with another piece due to such defects....

Each to their own I will say....

It is not desirable but if its not bad it wont take too much away from the look of the aro. I've seen some with some nasty PLJ, makes the fish pretty ugly.
