Let her eat her fill. I do not think I have ever or will ever see an article in any media that states "This just in, Stingray eats itself to death, explosion"

She will be fine, let her eat.

FireMedic.

As many nightcrawlers as they'll eat twice a day is the regimine I use for fresh W/Cs sporting saddles/ and or hip bones.... As soon as they get beefed up (month or so) then start in on trying to get them onto other foods.

Can be kinda difficult with other rays in the tank though.

she has been captive for at least 3 years the owner said she would eat anything... i have her eating nightcrawlers no problem, im going to do some choped up shrimp later tonite and see how that goes

So she has to be in better shape than some of the WCs I've gotten....LOL.

Was just trying to give you an idea.... I think you probobly have it all under control.... :headbang2

yea im sure she will be fine but the fact that an owner would let her get this skinny is just apoling to me....

Whatever foods she takes ...feed her as much as she wants to eat several times a day.

I had a bad case of underfed ray, she just refused to get fat, she'd eat as much as not to die, and then, all of a sudden earthworms became her best friends.

If you end up with a mess on your hands the first thing I'd do is put her back in the tank. You probobly shouldn't have her out "hand" feeding anyways.
