Underrated fish.

im gonna say african cichlids, alot of them are very territorial and aggresive but because they stay smaller that arent exactly monsters, i may just be biased but this is my opinion.

the Convict, pound for pound the most intersting/toughest cichlid out there.

Me too,

I think that Oscar and Cons are underated. Oscars take suck a bashing from people on forums but the are so freindly and tame. I love coming home to my oscars waggin their tails at the front of the tanks wanting a feed then patting them after they eat.

Also Chocolate Cichlids, I never hear of anyone else having one of them, they grow slow but they are wicked fish with lots of personality and great looks and the are as tough as hell.

Artemia salina
"Sea Monkey's".....one of the most influential and abundantly common creatures available in the hobby!!!!
Even though they are not truely fish they look like MONSTER'S TOO ME!!!! (Under a microscope, that is!)

BRINE SHRIMP CAN BE FUN TOO!!!!

Cool, mines wicked. He is just so calm, all the other fish will be fighting a he'll just swim right between them and doesn't even get spooked. I did a massive waterchange today and the other fish were starting to freak out and the chocolate didin't even seem to care. Does anyopne know roughly how fast they do grow, I had mine for a little over a year and he's gone from 1.5" to about 6", is this good, he hasn't had any growth spirts just grew steadily the whole time.

Another underrated fish, atleast were I live is Jewel Cichlids, I cant even give some away to my lfs even though they are 10 times better looking then theirs.
