After the Shark exhibit, there is an artificial reef exhibit. It had Tangs, Surgeonfish, puffers, Morays, etc.

Quote:

Little girl: Daddy, look at the Doryfish! It's a Doryfish!

Ewurm: No, that's a Hepatus Tang. Can you say HEPATUS TANG?

Little Girl: NO. Daddy, it's Dory!

Ewurm: I guess that f*ckin Nemo movie has rewritten 3rd grade biology textbooks.

The end of the exhibit has a number of smaller tanks. I only snapped a couple of pics. I got a nice shot of their CLEANER WRASSE! I guess I am not the only one who has one. Matt and Nicky, let me know what you feed yours. Mine is doing great so far on flakes and frozen foods.

Also got a shot of their coral only tank, and a starfish.

I skipped the pirhana tank, juvie shark tank and a couple others.

Another huge thanks to Matt and Nicky for letting me get another inside view of the operation, and make a half ass attempt at feeding the rays. If you can get over to the Mall of America, this is a great way to spend an afternoon. Now I have to go do water changes, but at least I don't have to deal with 1.2 million gallons.

It was fun, I want to get over to the zoo and snap some pics there too.

Nice Pics. Glad you had fun. Thanks for skipping over my juvenile shark exhibit and my touchpool....i feel so unappreciated  Oh well. We feed the cleaner wrasse mysis. The aquarist that takes care of that tank definately does not switch up the diet which is unfortunate, but the fish do well. We have a juvenile maori wrasse in that tank as well. I want him to get big so he becomes a Supermale so I slip him food other than brine. Today I fed him a few pieces of smelt, he loved me for it. Here is a pic of him.

Sorry, the juvenile sharks had lighting that made it difficult to snap shots, and the touch pool was crowded with people dousing your fish with their nasty germs. I can't imagine how you keep those things so healthy. I will get some shots of them next time though. I love to interact with the rays.

My wrasse likes Omega One Marine Flakes (the best), and also mysis, brine, bloodworms, glassworms, and a frozen Marine mix that I bought.
