Cool stuff! Just saw some catfish swim through..

I was just there last weekend and was amazed again by some of the specimens you have there. I especially liked the skate shark (or whatever it's called) that looks like a shark/stingray cross.

Well, we got a little carried away for the first round. We did 8 smaller pacu (piaractus spp), one red belly pacu, a silver aro (roughly 24"), tiger shovelnose catfish (roughly 28"), 5 lima shovel nose (10"-12") and a few adult oscars just for kicks.

After lunch we'll be moving in the BIG pacu (4 of them) and some cichlids.

I do have to mention that I took a shot from one of the lima shovelnose pectoral spines. In one side of my thumb and out the other. It's funny how much something like that bleeds!

If you get bored, tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon (Central time in the US), I'll probably be doing some cleaning and other underwater work in there. Both Friday and Sat will also be busy with dives and fish introductions.

John - Congrats!! I want pics!!!!

here is a quic pic how about the white pokka dots ??

Nice! I love 'em! The white dots on the tail are "normal". They are the same thing as the red colored spots, just a different color....nothing to worry about.

We ended up moving a ton of cichlids in (pikes, black bars, green terrors etc..) along with 4 BIG pacu. All went smoothly for us. I'm in tomorrow as well to keep adding stuff. Even though we added a ton of fish, it still looks empty. I'm glad we have until the 9th of March to add more.

That might make a cool fishkeeping scar!

Yeah, it looks like I stuck my thumb in a meat grinder.
I might be diving today to do some work, so if you see a larger than normal fish, it's me!

Only saw a catfish and a load of small (looking cause of distance) fish near the tunnel. One things for sure... am never going to see those plecos lol. How you going to feed them in there lol. Do you have a river flow, or is it pretty still water?
