I caught him in a local pond on a ultralite rod and reel with a tiny spinnerbait. I have had him since last May and he's grown alot already. Its pretty cool watching him slam crayfish as soon as they hit the water and large 3-4" feeders are no match either. I have had him take small pieces of bologna out of my fingers. Needless to say my wife won't let my 15 month old daughter watch the carnage of feeding time.
I am looking forward to the lmb getting a bit bigger to start feeding him small mice and frogs. I think that would be cool (as long as the tank can stay clean!)
