undestructable aquarium heaters?

I have a "New shatterproof thermal plastic" VisiTherm submersible Stealth heater--next to a titanium (too $$ for teacher budget) I think it's about the best. Long wand, excellent construction, great for the $$ (I have a 250 watt, good up to 75g tank). If I can't break it, even monsterfish shouldn't! Good luck.

I found extra plastic covers and suckers for my heaters, they dont budge at all.

Just go with a titanium heater. I have one and there great.

Sorry about your loss. Can you explain how your heater broke? Did the fish banged it to the tank, did it just stayed on and heated the tank too much, or did the ebo jager just cracked open??

I am going to save you alot of time. BUY A WON BROS. titanium heater I had 2-300 watt Via Aqua titaniums and they both stopped working on me in 7 months and there is no way a big pissed off fish can break a titanium heater. they would break the tank first. you can get them off ebay for cheap. the adjustement is right on also.
