Undulate triggerfish

Is there any way to lower down it's aggression? Mine was placed with a velvet demsel and a lionfish. My lfs fooled me that it will be best to be kept with lionfish. 1st day it was just laying on one corner but Suddenly, it started to attack demsel and lionfish. Lionfish is feared of it but surprisingly, demsel also won't gave up(it hits trigger with it's tail) but I think that demsel won't be able to hold so I shifted trigger to another tank. Is there any way to keep these guys together?

Welcome to the forum!
Lions have long fins and are slow moving - triggers (and damsels) are fin nippers and can be very aggressive. It’s not the best combination, and is likely to only get worse.
I would rehome one or the other and build the tank around which you keep.

Always kept my undulated solo… will shred any tank mates to bits eventually IMO… Sure you may see them with other fish at the LFS, that short lived tho.

Yes it was housed with few domino demsel. My lionfish sometimes gets mad and traps trigger with it's fins to bite but that trigger is super active and running here and there. Will it be fine if I placed it alone in 40 g ? I hv tried to donate it but no-one is ready. I tried to return it but damn that seller has no return rule. I hv made caves but I think it didn't like those as it make them fall and rearranged them weirdly and it is sleeping laying on a corner now

That trigger is also hard to feed. I hv to give it small bites to eat(of meaty food).

Same here.I had two Undulateds years ago,someone had turned them in at the shop due to their aggression and the guy at the shop sold them to me for a very low price just to be rid of them!

All triggers like to dig and find odd places to “sleep”… can’t control that unless ur rock work is zip tied together. For the 40gal, id say thatd b fine for a year or two depending on the triggers size. I kept mine alone in a regular 55g for a few years. Trigger was 5-6”.

It is still doing glass surfing don't know why. I heard they eat a lot but it got full when I gave it 1 Molly. It is nearly the same size of lion, around 4"

Yeah,one was nearly ten inches and the other was a bit smaller.
