let the fish eat until full, then pull out any access food not eaten within like 10 min after.. if the fish were hungry they would eat, also switch up your foods, only one food is nto good for your lil fish!
I agree, uneaten fish spoil quickly and spike your ammonia levels as well as supporting high bacterial levels.
I let my live kill go one night . If I insert food at 8:00 pm , my fish may munch on the kill till

i used to leave food in my p tanks for around 1/2 hour as they could be picky and not eat straight away.
Glad to see your p's were so badass they couldn't finish it's meal... Next time get an appropriate size feeder and then you won't have to remove it..

good thread. i am personally having the same problem as well.
my p's leave their foods for a while but i noticed that they do come back for it.
and i get problems like unseen carcasses, its hard to see when theyre under the driftwoods.
