Zilch, zip, zero. If anyone would like to provide the math showing otherwise, I would be more than happy to punch holes in it. :D

The tank is on a stable and flat base. That is what is important. Being out of level is very insignificant as far as stresses and strains are involved.

I doubt that I even own a level tank. I'm not anal enough to even bother looking twice. I fill them so the water line is hidden by the trim or hood, and then never give it a second thought. I know my 250g and 75g are both out of level.

He's dead on! :iagree:

ok . well. i decided to go on the first sugestions of level it up ( before i saw the later posts , but thanks very much for the comments :) makes me feel better about my other tank at least :D ) but at least i will be happier and it wont anoy me forever by being uneaven . so ive stuck some boarding under the back to raise it up a little the water level is spot on and the main support areas of the stand are in contact with the floor ( no gaps under the main suport areas )

theres a scary amount of potential water for the tank and since ive not had such a large tank built especially before im concerned that the joints are still a milky color . its aparently been stood for about 4 weeks or so and the guy said it was fine to fill . but id rather double check .

should i give it more time to dry out or will it be ok . ( wife will kill me if i destroy the new carpet its sat on with the water going everywhere :D )
