So i got on facebook this morning and see a picture of a oscar with the person asking what too feed it. She said she got it for her boyfriend which is one of my friends, i also know that the only tank he has is a one gallon betta tank, they are keeping it in there until they can get a bigger tank, unbelievable i must say. if that oscar ever lives past being in a one gallon tank with no filtration for awhile he is a strong fish. Lets hope she has enough to upgrade the tanks as needed.... So for future reference know what your getting into please...

Well IMO, if her boyfriend is a friend of yours, then you should lay into both of them for being so ignorant. 
When I sold my albino I was asked if its like a goldfish the picture was it at 10 inches and as a member of the fish keeping community u should have told them instead of bming them on here

Yeah it just aint right, gonna tell him that he better be ready for what he has to do. I set up my 55 gallon and it has cost me alot of money, i do not mind spending the money because the fish are happy but i dont think my friend knows what is coming lol. Poor oscar.....
