Unexpected losses

for some reason my tank has been dying off this past week too. i've lost 3 fish in 3 days. i tested my water and it's fine. i do weekly water changes. i have been doing one everyday for the past four days and adding salt. that's all i can really do. they are africans and it's my first time keeping them. i have had them for a few months and they have been fine. i don't know what the deal is. i am going to trade the remaining ones in and go back to south americans.
That sucks. Are you sure there was not some external thing poisoning them ? My mom lost some cichlids after being overzealous with her febreeze . Just a thought. I cant say for sure that is what happened because there is no test kit for febreeze.
Thanks all. The remaining small spotted dollar has turned up. The remaining large sd I assume has been lost. I plan to give the tank a good clean tomorrow and post pics of the remaining inhabitants.

Just a quick update. I have decided not to add any more sd's, but add several congo tetras. I hope that this will being out the sd's more.
Sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, we can't alway's determine what causes us to lose our beloved finny freinds, I recently lost 15 mumichogs in two different 55 gallons in a matter of day's. Wipped out my stock of them completely. The bluegills, channel catfish, crayfish and pleco in one tank are fine, the white catfish and pumpinseed hybrid in the other are fine. No more mumichogs though. That was 15 in each tank, btw.
