i think there are a lot of jag hybrids out there actually. most commonly seen with texas, red devils and occasionally festaes.
i say keep some and see what happens! :D
let me know if i can take some of the small fry off you, gani. i'd be interested to see what these suckers look like later on!

i did not realize they mix that commonly.. these are going to be something.. JAgs actually mix with red devils ..wonder what all these x's would look like? These should be jags with green fins .. i hope we get to see what they grow into..

i dont think any hybrids end up looking as good as their parents in my opinion. these guys will probably end up with mottled blotches on them like their mom and maybe with their dad's size and fin extensions. probably end up being mean SOBs... ;)

well i hope he keeps some so we could see... :D

if you dont want to raise any, give me a few, ill take them and keep you all posted.

I'm afraid of the Purists :D

If they were not hybrids then I would not have any issues giving it away. Then again, no one might even want them because jag's & Dovii's are very common. I just don't want to see them at fish stores labeled as "JOVII'S" :D

Anyway, they are scattered all over my 210 G tank. I use a wet dry filtration so guess what's in my sump? I had to take out some of their neighbors because now that the fry's free swimming, they would not even allow other fishes to move. Crazy Parents.
