has anybody ever herd of a ray giving birth than maybe a few hours or days later letting another one out?? its still very fat and doing some crazy stuff, spinning around lifting its tail up high and back end,i can tell something is going on down their, its ammonia damage "but she ate already so it cant be bad" or shes having labour pains which i think thats what is causing it!
any insight on that subject guys

Mine females were pretty mellow and basically worn out after birth. When they are giving birth or starting to they don't sit still and hover at the top of the tank trying to get into the powerhead flow or filter flow. Time will tell if you have anymore in there.

i had a leo give birth to 4 pups then 3 weeks later 3 more so yes ive heard of this

u will see movement on her back if she ever holds still.....thats how youll know if theres more pups

suuuuweeeeet thanks brent your story is awsome.the boesemani still had a very agressive diet i am now 14 shrimp and counting with her just fed her again.i think i see movement but the build of this ray is hard to tell. its a very heafty strong build ray like a leo on roids, with big muscles on the side she looked emptied out at first but still had one side misshaped.like trev says only time will tell.

brent did the leos that were born 3 weeks later survive?? and what was the cause of the early brith if any? something similar

That is crazy, do you have a male to go with her so she can get knocked up again? That would of been awesome had they of lived

I still think she has more.and yes i have a nice big badasss bd male thats useless so far but i think that's because me females are not ready.
