in my school i was the starting qb as a junior until i broke my wrist on the first day of practice. so 4 weeks later i came back for one day of practice then started as qb in the game the next day. well i didnt do amazing because i had no practice at it so he put in the other qb and let me bench. well its been about 3 weeks since then and i am way better than the other qb now that i have had time to practice yet i still am benching...since im not starting i play in the jv games and heres a little story. when the other qb played in a jv game against the same team i did, we got killed. he got sacked almost every time. so then i played the next time and we killed them. i ran for 6 80 yard td's from the qb spot (2 of them got called back :( ) and i also had an awesome passing game. where as the other qb did terrible. yet i still dont start in the varsity games??? i think this isnt very fair lol what do you guys think?

It is probably not fair to lose a position because of injury. You did only practice once before you got hurt so the other guy has all that practice time you did not. I would try to stay humble and keep performing when you get a chance to play. Unless the coach is a jerk, the other guy is a superb brownoser, or there are other factors with you such as bitterness, then you should get your chance. On the down side, the man Lou Gehrig replaced, Wally Pipp, sat down with an injury for one game and never got back to starting.
