No we shouldn't eat them but our fish have no problem eating them. Large mouths are finally beginning to eat them. Just quarantine them and feed them to your fish

Good news, i know there are alot of smallmouths in the greatlakes where the Gobies have invaded

that would be highly illegal to take round gobies home even if its already dead its just you cannot possessed them. You can get a fine and they will revoked your fishing/hunting license for few years. They also will seized your truck/boat and fishing equipment then auction them off. True story.

Fish don't have to be alien to be invasive, we had someone add pike like to our local canal. They are rocketing up in numbers lots of small jack pike hiding under leaves. This has made a massive reduction in fry shoals the effect is obvious. All from a UK native someone put where it should not be.
