??unknown 1" datnioide/NEED HELP WITH ID and help with a paper thin dat???

Lol hahahahaha sorry odie but they won't change much from what u have you should no this I has 1 inch datnoids that will look the same at 12" but you can always hope they will end up like the STs in that link but very unlikely

Yea...far from a noob bro. We do need better pictures but that is far from an NTT...and def has tail markings different from just about any IT I have seen. It is at least an IT.

Its funny how everyone knows exactly what it is but first it was "100% NTT", then its "100% IT"...with know explanation no less:nilly:. But its tail is extremely peculiar for IT. I've been keeping dats for years (currently have about 20 from 1" to 15" in 3 separate tanks. I am not sure its a Pulcher but it is at least a very rare looking and interesting IT (ARE YOU ALL EVEN LOOKING AT THE TAIL BARS?).

Its been a really long time since most of us have seen baby ST and from what I hear, they are out there somewhere. That said, there are even some ST that look like Indo. So...all I can say is I hope he pulls through and at least O has a really nice and rarer looking IT.

Its funny though that with all the "experts" who are chiming in (including me:ROFL:...but not really), we can't even agree on what it is...But we all know its not an ST:confused::nilly:?

exactly...look at the tail markings as i have been trying to tell the rest of you "experts";).

and for those that talk about the middle bar being straight...look again at the very first pic. all the other pics were bad angels...

still alive but still papr thin. still wont eat as i keep force feeding him with a tube. and still wont eat anything but angelfish fry. good thing i didnt sell my breeding pairs!:ROFL:

i put him in with my future Arowana communuty (2 jars, 3 silvers) to entice his eating and it worked. he still will only eat one or 2 bites.

arows dont mess with him as they all swim in a group. good thing is the arows see me petting and hand feeding the dat so now they let me pet and hand feed them!!!:headbang2

so all is well so far...pics of th community tank up tonight..
 
Looks like an 3 bar IT to me but the tail marking sure is unsual. Perhaps it's a cross breed? Lol well there are rumors going around bout breeeding ST and IT but regardless I think it's going to turn out nice I have a few that looks like that but not the same tail markings. Take some more pictures!
 
Thats better news than before Laosy fish.

I think u guys r RIGHT... its more IT than NTT. (my first post assuming NTT ...was done on the iphone on the train, so pic. was really small)

Look forward to the tank pics.
