It does look like a Tatia intermedia rather than the T. galeatus. Sorry about the confusion. I haven't seen this catfish much though since I bought it. Shame. You may be luckier if yours keeps showing up. Good luck.
Woodcats will eat anything. Mine ate pellets, floaters too. I would turn out the lights on the tank, and leave a light on in the room. He would come out of his cave and cruse the edges at the top of the tank. He also enjoyed sinking pellets, market shrimp, and krill. Rarely saw him during the daylight hours. He would come out of the cave for a second to adjust and turn around and go back in. Got him at 3", and in 4 years was about 6"
