lol, guess I was the mistaken one. At a second glance, looks like a skinned, finned shark. The tiny dot up front may be the eye

Looks similar, but the geographic area seems a bit off.

i dont think it is the frilled shark. The frilled shark is really skinny and elongated. This one looks like it has a little more substance. The problem with old pics like these is that sometimes it is nothing more than washed up whale blubber that with the proper lighting looks like a sea monster
