Highly doubt it. Briliant rasboras have a coulourful tail and reach up to 2 inches. Some of mine are way more than 2 inches, with my largest one being 4.5 inches. Also, the head of the briliant rasbora is more blunt. Here are some pics of Rasbora aurotaenia that I referred to, and they match exactly.
