This odd, coral-looking, red thing has been growing off of one of my corals for awhile now and I don't know what it is. It's getting to be pretty big though, and is changing shape and color.
It's almost like a bush in the way it grows. It has a stem-like base that it's growing from and a big red bushy top. Can anyone ID this for me?

You may have a little more luck placing this in the s/w coral section?

although i agree, looks pretty interesting...

Forgot to mention there's another one right behind the original, but it's a completely different shape. Same color and everything though.
And it looks like another is forming not too far from the first two, also a different shape.

Just some red algea brother. Normal. If you dont like it take the peice of live rock out and pull it all off. Its nothing to worry about

There's no way it's algae of any kind. It's hard and has a distinct structure.
If you look at the second one, you can see how it's forming leaf-like arms.
I honestly think its some kind of weird coral growing but I don't know for sure really.
