I purchased this little guy at an lfs in town to go along with my senegalus... but there was no one there that knew what he was. I'm sure someone here can tell me just from the picture. Haha.

That's because it's a VERY low quality farm bred. You can see by the markings.

I would save your cash for a decent breed with un broken symmetrical bands.

While the value is correct, this is how I look at things.

When I buy a fish I buy in the knowledge that this fish is going to get very large, and take a lot of space in a tank.So I want something special taking up that space.
So yes I could go the value route, or I could put in a few more coins and get something worthwhile.

But this is just ME, and I am a bit of a snob about these things!
