Definetly VERY beautiful..... it's too bad rays like this aren't available to the typical hobbyist.
I agree these types of rays always go to the breeders or the people who have all the conections.

Here is my largest 14" female marble. She has the black marbling in between the spots and you can see the younger 8" female is very light around the spots, but you can start to see a little bit of marbling just barely starting to come out. The marble in the other picture posted before is on a black bottom and the black will tend to stand out more. But I think those ones have more black between the spots than mine. The spots are very bright too and makes it that much more cooler. It is a very nice ray.

Here is one of the male marble motoro's I have. He is the type that has the light brown in between the spots unlike the females which have the black. The last pic is of my 12" female marble.

ahhh i see, never really understood why marbles were called marbles, small ones arent so pretty, and thats all i ever saw.

The smaller ones don't look as pretty, but if you know what you're looking for you can tell.

And even if you're willing to spend double what a Marble usually goes for they are still NOT available....... Guess it's all in who you know....or in this case who you DON'T know...LOL

I think that once more is discovered, we'll see Pearls and Motoros crossed paths somewhere in history.

I discussed this with a friend this Saturday, and we came to the conclusion that we "THINK" pearls are just a Brazillian morph of motoro,,,,,,,,,,,,and a very nice one at that!
