Hello; I just checked new posts and none of the threads I am following are active right now. Got me to thinking about past threads and how they often just stop. The sort of thread where an OP has some issue or question which we go round and round about for a time and never find out the outcome.
Sort of like Don Henley's love affairs that stop on a dime.
Since we cannot know what the real outcome was unless and until the OP comes back, perhaps we can make up our own endings and outcomes. An example over the last few months was the member with poor source water whop started a few threads. ( maybe giar) I happened to read one of his newest threads a few days ago about his getting a RO unit. This is a very good outcome and we have a resolution.
For many threads we never find out. Did the sealed tank leak? Did the floor hold the weight? Did the tank ever cycle? Did the ich treatment work out? Did the methylene blue crash the cycle? Did we ever pin a nickname on hendre?
This is likely a weak idea but describe a hanging thread (maybe a link ?) and I will try to predict the outcome of the first one.
