Why will my odds improve by illiminating my two other males? I had a smaller pair of Jags in with them that managed to mate and then I removed them. Are Festae shy in this reguards that I should only keep a pair together. These fish will never sit still long enough for a good pic.

No competition, a more tranquil environment. I don't know your Mrs, but i'm sure she'll climax a whole lot easier without two other blokes in your bedroom watching.:D

Im having the same problem with my red texas. the female rosequeen has layed eggs twice now in a matter of 2 weeks and both times they went unfertilized. the male red tex went through the routine scooting along the eggs after she layed them but didnt fertilize. so either hes not spraying them or hes sterile.

this is the 2nd time in 2 weeks she has layed eggs and all are white as she still sits there fanning them.:(
