my new ray has a cloud of slime around her stinger that has collected sand and is annoying to look at. is this normal? it looks like maybe it could have been its poop clinging to it at first, maybe, i dont know. how do i get rid of it or can i?

It looks like a fungus to me.....I agree with Nic...salt should clear that up. That's a hell of a tail on that ray!!! Retic? Almost looks like the tail of an Antenna Ray, but I know those are pretty hard to come by and I've never seen anyone who has one.
she does have a long tail and yeah its a retic. so i'll go get some salt. i take it its not immediatly life threatining or anything
