unsure issue

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that is a stumper. does your jack like earthworms? worms are great for putting on size and girth, yours looks a bit skinny. might help boost energy levels.
Haven’t tried but would like to. Special buy or literally go outside and dig some up? He got skinny while in the copper. I’m going to continue with 12% water changes twinge a week and hope this eye issue clears up. The little worm like things on my ghost are weird as well. Really frustrating as this tank has never had issues until months ago and my other tanks are perfectly fine. Thanks for the responses

if you know there's no pesticides used in your lawn then just dig them up. or if a place sells bait you can get those. just make sure to squeeze out the crap from the worm
from the collar down.
you don't want blockages in your fish. if he's small use small worms etc..

sorry for focusing on your jack. the knife looks like it has the begging stages of anchor worms. i'd treat for that now as it can kill your fish.

Better pics would be helpful.

The white spots are reflective and under normal light do night shine until here with the camera - the two small protrusions are harder to see under camera light. Sorry the ghost hard to snap pictures of

maybe google velvet disease?
I did, unsure I talk to the LFS. They advised me I did have velvet on my Dempsey so I treated him in copper, After taking him out and re-entering him into his tank. The yellow spot came back and now after more extensive research I believe I have a electric blue crossed with the gold as the gold replaced his prior black marking on his brows and nose. Kind of starting to think LFS just throw stuff out there for sale items.

I was thinking about the knife having it too but I think they don't tolerate copper well? i'm not sure on that exactly so maybe post it in the knife section. most lfs I go to the people there don't really know and are just parroting what they have been told. best to ask everywhere and do your own research too, like you're doing.
