Unungy for plecos?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Due to the fact that most of the species sold on my site are rare, I encourage breeding! so we can see more and more of those species.

It has been proven that if you are trying to breed any species of plecos you will take more care of them, water condition, diet, habitat etc.

Most people ask me the same question... why? I've been offered $$$ for females or pairs but I do not sell like that. I do prefer breeder to buy my plecos as I know they will continue with new blood string for new generations to come.

I do not sell individual fish, females only, pairs but groups of 5 or more.
Large breeding projects get free shipping, free plecos, discounts, upgrades to bigger sizes etc.

It is just the way I conduct my business, I'm sorry if I could not help you with your request.

L25's are still due to come...
L24's will come in June

How can I get involved in a breeding program through you? I am not picky as to what "L" species in particular, just love fish and trying new things.

Thank you guys.

Kevin.

I just sent you an email with more information.
My suggestion will be to start with something simple but exciting such as some Hypancistrus L129, L199, L270, I am not a breeder myself but a collector or rare species.

Friends and people in the industry have convinced me to start an small breeding project to see what? is like. I've setup 6 17x24x48 for this purpose running on a sump. I have not yet decide what will go into those tanks but have several ideas in mind.

I will post some pictures of the setup.... maybe an L282 colony since I have several matured fish that could be a good project or some 300 zebras.

I'm still waiting for L46. :(

You and have of the population in USA. My advise to those that have L46, Hypancistrus Zebra pleco or commonly known as Imperial Pleco... hold on to them as much as possible.

We may not see them for a long time.. they are getting hard to get and more expensive then ever.

I have an extensive waiting list right now.....and very few coming to complete the demand.
