unused 20gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A lot of these people offered opinions for fishes that get to big for a 20 gallon. What I suggest you do is do what I'm doing. :)

Make yourself a nano reef saltwater tank with a pair of perculas. That would look hot.

ok I caved and got piranhas. they are really small right now. the 20 gallon is more than enough room for them. But I am going ahead and buying them a 40 gallon in the near future. thanks for all the advice guys.
Also that nano reef sounds really cool. got any pics of it?

you shouldnt have done it!!!!
piranhas are boring.........
their not very active, and only fun to watch during feeding.

the only good thing about RBPs imo, is that they grow fast enough to not keep you entirely bored w/ them.

I'am glad too see the SH idea went in one ear and out the other ,for they are illegal and not worth the risk of keepin (even though the giant is a awsome specimen!!) .. the nano reef is a cool idea (go benifica 540!!) and the hospital is a wise idea and make's the most sence being you have a clown knife (they are delicate fish when small under 8'' ) and fish dew tend to fight and change personality when older ( I've had fish grow up together and coexist but once a certin size is achevied forget about it ,it's all over for the weaker fish!!) . Imo enjoy what you have and go with a hospital/ quarentine tank it make's the most sence.. this hobby is not cheap and you can get over your head fast . and beside's it is a essential part of sucessfull fish keepin to have a hosptal / quarintine tank . and hey if the fish still die's at least you know you tryed your best to save it!... :D

the best of luck with what
ever path you go...

Hiya Bigbadsurge, Welcome to MFK.
I suggest you open a new thread in the Chiclid forum titled some thing like "need help finding uncommon cichlids" those are the people who should be able to hook you up.
