Unusual Dat Prices.

Datnoids are very slow growers. That's why there is such an enormous gap in price between 1-2" Dats and 5+" Dats. I've seen bigger price differences for the same species in Datnoids more than any other fish.
2" might be $20, but 6" might very well be $150-$200. It's all about size when it comes to Dats, and the juvi's aren't worth much at all.

Anybody out there with different prices at your location?
Look at this photo of a container full of baby STs. There must be some place where STs are a dime a dozen and NGTs are used as feeders.

does anyone think i got a good deal on my dats... well i got 3 dats total, 2 are indos and 1 is simese dat and there all about the size between 1" to 1.5" inches for $100, i dont know much about these fish but they are very nice to keep and look at... and are they a rare fish??? my main questions, thanks
Hmm, i always thought IT's where the most common ones overall. Nice to know AT is more common.
Over here in iceland, no dats are ever available, 4 datnoids, read this well, 4 DATNOIDS, not 4 species or 4 batches, no 4 individual datnoids have been shipped to iceland the last 2 years, i bought one of them yesterday. I paid $100 for 1x 1" IT.
Seems fair?
